Directional & Omni-Directional Light

Did you know that you do not need as many lumens with LEDs?  The reason is because LEDs are directional and Fluorescent is omni-directional light.  Omni-directional light gets trapped in areas outside the target area, where directional light delivers light with efficiency directly to the target area.  If you use Fluorescent technology, be sure to use a reflector to decrease light loss factor and increase efficiency.
